Joining Tzedek Chicago

Welcome to Tzedek Chicago! Founded in 2015, we are an intentional Jewish congregation based on core values of justice, equity and solidarity. In our educational programs, celebrations and liturgy, we emphasize the Torah’s central narrative of liberation, the prophetic imperative to speak truth to power, and an expansive diasporic vision that views the entire world as our homeland. We are honored you have chosen our congregation to be your spiritual home.

Our Sustaining Dues:

Tzedek Chicago's annual sustaining dues are $650.00 per individual adult and $1,100.00 per household with 2 or more adult members. This amount was determined by our board as necessary to sustain our congregation for the year. Members also have the option of splitting their dues across multiple payments throughout the year.

We know some members will not be able to afford this amount - and we do not believe in putting the onus on members to ask for dues relief. We will gladly accept whatever dues amount members can make toward sustaining our congregation, with no questions asked. We also know that some of our members will be able to afford a larger figure; members who can contribute more are certainly encouraged to do so! In either case, members can write in their preferred dues amounts below.

Tzedek Chicago is a 501(c) (3) organization; membership contributions and other donations are tax deductible.
